it can be done... you need the trans from a w-body aswell as everything else.

your obd2, but if you could not answer that question youself... i wouldnt suggest you doing the swap

Can it be done? is my 96 ODB2? or 1.5...

And the pedals / shifter I need to find from a w-body, but what other GM cars can I get the trans from?

and unless you want to make a custom mount(s) for the tranny, you'll need to get the tranny from a w-body as well. oh and every FWD manual tranny from GM that wasn't attached to a w-body was pretty weak, with the exception of the F40 and possibly the tranny for the turbo cobalts, but i'm not too sure on that. if there are others, i don't know about them.

Thanks for that

But do I have to get it reprogramed? cause its not like I can swap out a manual ECU - cause there where none from the factory with ODB2

reflashing the PCM: you have 2 options here

1. find someone who knows what they are doing, and have them figure it out for you. obviously it will cost you....

2. spend the 400 it costs for HPTuners and figure it out yourself.

your choice...
