Dan94Z34
I finally got my car fixed and running. It ended up having three bad fuel injectors. After I stared the car the first time, I noticed the temp gauge was pegged all the way into the red and the temp warning light was on. The car was only idleing for less than a minute. I'm thinking the sensor for the gauge is shot? Maybee the wiring? The car is a 89 regal GS 3.1 with digital gauges.
Robby1870
More than likely the sensor...single (usually green) wire sensor on the driver's side corner of the rear head.

X2, and depending on who you talk to, they might refer to it as a sender, i believe thats how rockauto has them classified...

Yeah just verify that it is the one wire sensor and not the two wire for the ECM.
Robby1870
The two-wire one does not work the gauge in the cluster, it only gives the ECM info.
