89oldscutlass Posted September 4, 2003 Report Share Posted September 4, 2003 Well guys after getting your all opinions on the new color im putting on my car I decided to go with medium metalic quasar blue from gms 1996 paint line. As far as the stripes this time i got a bright silver metalic for them. I picked up the paint and all the materials this morning excluding sand paper which I already had in total I spent $240 bucks guess that means no McDonalds this week. Im hoping ill have all the dings fixed the cowl hood on it and painted in the next couple of weeks. When i get done ill post new pics for you guys to check out at cardomain. Its been 11 years since I have picked up a paint gun and painted a car my brother paints a bunch at his garage where I work we do more engine tranny repair work then paint and body work so its nice to do something besides turning wrenches all day.
