I just ordered upper, lower and throttle body...set me back a pretty penny with core charges of course. They said it would take 2 to 2.5wks because they didnt have the lower on hand.

STR,

-You mentioned you had the whole intake setup there, what motor is that for? And how nice of a porting job did they do? Reason i ask is that our intakes are like impossible to port because of the sharp bend where the upper and lower meet and im wondering how the hell they got around that...

i have one matched to the upper intake with their 72mm throttlebody.

alot more power through the whole powerband. i haven't been to the track yet to show any numbers.

so did you do any tests before you got the throttle body? on 60degreev6.com there is an article on throttle bodies that says you should perform some test prior to investing in one.

also how much was your upper intake?

thanks

I just got a reply from RSM. Heres what they had to say...

The price for the 3.1 upper and lower ported IM is $US219.99 for both and they are hand ported, gasket matched and flowed at 20% over stock. The gain is 24 HP with a 62 mm TB.

Thats pretty good to me for only 220$.
