I have had mine go off several times after I enter my apartment building, but I'm pretty sure I'm accidentally hitting the "panic button" somehow while checking the mail, or carrying a bunch of stuff in. I'm pretty sure that I'm not hitting the panic button, since thats what I originally dismissed it as, and typically keep it in my hand now.
