Drummer
i'm not exactly sure whats going on with it but it's really starting to annoy me. This only happens when the car is warmed up, and going up hills small or large. The trans shifts fine 1st though 4th, it's just when tcc locks up going up hills it will disengage then engage like a pulsing and will keep doing it, if i step on the gas it will do it less, but more noticeable, I have to be in 3rd for it to stop. Another thing is that it doesn't want to shift up unless you step on it then it will go from 4th to 2nd completely skipping 3rd gear. Any thoughts? Andrew
converter lock-up hunting is common. It really is annoying during certain driving circumstances. To me it sounds like there is nothing technically wrong, but if i were you I'd look into getting a tune to better fit your preferences. ZZP or Intense PCMs should solve this problem. Drummer
what about the stubborn shifting, I've never had a car that shifted like that.
BXX
check trans fluid level and condition.. Flush then install a new filter A hydraulic system cant work right if its hydraulic fluid is crap and the filter is old
Drummer
ok a new problem started happening. when i start driving my car it's fine but after driving a while and stop and go traffic when i step on the gas it moves but it's more of a sluggish move and then bang it kicks in and goes like it should. the fluid level is fine as i changed the fluid and filter before i started driving it, and before i changed it it was still red not burnt or anything.
