RETURN THE ITEMS YOU DON'T NEED?

Have you checked all fuses? underhood as well as inside the car under the glovebox liner?

does your CHECK ENGINE light illuminate when you put the key in the run position?

Assuming you know how to pull codes, do so and see if your ECM is functional.

if all checks out ok, I will suggest the crank sensor as a likely culprit.

I had only checked the fuses the (blade only) over the ecm. I will check the rest. Also how do check the square ones. As for the check engine it did not come on when it was running rough. And what is the easiest way to get to the chank sensor. I tough the 3.1 was bad but I can't even see it on the 3.4.

OK checked all fuses only found one bad. It was a 10 amper over the ECM. Could not tell what it went to. But was second row from firewall side and second one form engine to fender. Replaced it and still dosenot start and the fuse is still OK.

No codes.

just to make sure... you did get the diagnostic "12" meaning the PCM is "functional"?

the sensor is on the rear of the block... #@$#&*@%$ close to the alternator. some people recommend changing it when doing the alternator for that reason...

IT LIVES. It helps to make sure when replacing a bad fuse you put the new one it the same spot. It was the fuse to the Ing. module. Can a bad module blow a fuse????????
