Justin
Has anyone put an aftermarket shift knob on their 5 speed equipped W-body? If so, how? Sounds like a stupid question until you see the shifter arm is actually a flat metal bar, not the round threaded bar we're used to. I'd like a Hurst T-handle, a little throwback to the old Hurst Olds Cutlass's. I was thinking I'll almost have to just cut the old shifter off right below where the knob attaches and weld on some threaded rod to spin the new handle on to. If anyone else has any better ideas I'd like to hear them.

Guest Anonymous
The '89 GP 5-speed I use to have and the '90 GP 5-speed I have now both have threaded shifter handles.
