jtwmechanic Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 95 olds cutlass supreme went pop pop pop through the intake then stalled. restarts but runs like shit. found #3 intake valve with 1-2" of gas on top of it. i am assuming its not firing on #3. this just happened so i havn't been able to tear into anything yet. any guesses. slick Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 I actually had my Z34 backfire on me several times. Almost seems as if the injector is being pulsed at the incorrect time, or the plug is getting a weak amount of power. I ended up having to replace my engine harness. Took care of some of it, ICM and coils helped too. Quote

jtwmechanic Posted May 14, 2009 Author Report Posted May 14, 2009 just found white pudding like substance(watered down oil) contaminating the egr valve, but there is no such contaminates at either end of the egr tubes. where in the hell did the water and oil come from? i am going to pull the lim.
