GPdriver1986 Posted September 2, 2003 Report Share Posted September 2, 2003 About a month ago I complained that my odometer/trip was not working on my Base cluster. I also had a problem with the coolant light (overheating light) constantly on, and the low fuel light didn't turn on at all sometimes it flickered. I was confused because I didn't know what to solder because the base cluster is very different from the full gages circuit. I soldered the following : two chips, connector pins, low fuel light socket,coolant light socket,odometer connector pins, two chips where the odometer connects to. Now my odometer works kinda but I think there is something wrong with my trip. My coolant light (overheating) doesn't come on at all but this morning it flickered then it went off. Should this light come on during the bulb test? Does the low fuel light come on only when the fuel is low or should it come on the bulb test?
