kuntzie Posted May 10, 2009 Report Share Posted May 10, 2009 200°C (375°F) my getrag 284... think it would suvrive under these temps for approximating 20 minutes? the reason i ask.. im looking into getting the trans powder coated if i can but dont know if it would take the heat, the internal temp wont make it to 375* i dont think, but thats what the oven temp would be. brake calipers survive so i dont think this is too much of a problem ... a trans temp gag. shows temps to about 260*F or so on most of them.
