BXX Posted May 5, 2009 Report Posted May 5, 2009 THanks bob. I can get the motor in the stand tonight and start tearing it apart. You can get some high grade bolts from Autozone at a pretty decent price. Thats where I always got bolts to engines to keep on a stand... Worst case scenario, if they are wrong, you can easily take them back. But the last time I had a 2.8L on a stand I do believe they were the 3/8-16... Good luck with that engine, you got a hell of a deal Quote
Venom Posted May 5, 2009 Report Posted May 5, 2009 The 3.1 out of my step sisters lumina is on my engine stand at my dads and it uses 3/8-16 same as any GM motor more than likely. Quote

95cutty96 Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 Is the engine in the car still? Or are you missing some because when I pulled mine out I had just used the bellhousing bolts for the engine stand that I had taken out of the tranny Quote
