As you may know, my friend Jake has a TGP and we just picked up a 284 GP for a 5 speed swap.

 

My questions are:

 

What chip are you running and who modded it?

 

We're sure that we are going to need a turbo bracket made, do you have the measurements for that?

 

Will we need anything else for this swap?

 

The car is stock.

i have the turbo mount that was used in my car before going all custom.. aswell as a chip.. its from skalor and i dont know what the rules are on that since i bought it with the car im sure i could sell it.

 

the 284 donor car will give u what you need

 

i have 2 chips... i for stock injectors and one when i had the gt2871r and 28or 29# injectors

also be prepared for an expensive clutch, the 284s are like double the $$ of the 282s.... unless the clutch is new in the donor car, its not worth putting in.

Was that a typo Nick? Kenny had a getrag 282 swapped in. I remember him posting about his 2.8/5spd donor car way back when he did the swap.
