96 Cutlass Idler Pulley

So my g/f's 96 2 Door had a little issue today. The idler pulley seized up and actually broke the plastic pulley clean off. The belt is 100% intact, she was in a parking lot, but the pulley itself is torched.

 

Just wondering how much they are usually, time to start searching the net.

you can get them new for $40, or go to a j/y and get one for about $20.

 

if you get a used one... get one from an older 3.1mpfi or even a 2.8... they interchange, but the original design = STRONGER

Good to know, it is at a local shop, really nice guy, does excellent work...very fair...so it will be done tomorrow and ready for pickup. He just didn't know how much it would be for the part, so I was wondering if anyone knew...thanks for the quick response. They look to be anywhere from 18 - 35 dollars...so pretty cheap fix.
