cutlass1991
There is a guy selling a set of 18" eagle 077s with 245/45/18 tires for $550. They are currently mounted on a 2003 Grand Prix. He does not know the offset. Is there any chance they will fit onto my 97 cutlass supreme sedan? I spent a while searching but didn't come up with a definitive answer. GOT2B GM
I'd rather have the 245-40-18's, but I think thats a matter of preference and a couple MPH difference on the speedo.
Cully77
I'm pretty sure I'm watching those on ebay too, if that's where you see them. Tried to get him to sell early and ship, but looks like he made the right decision to let it go.
Addicted2bass
They were on ebay if its the ones im thinking of. In Ohio, there was a pic of the guys GP it was a red 4-door. cutlass1991
Yes, they were the ones on ebay. I didn't end up buying them.. I did some searching and got linked to a thread on GPclub where he was trying to unload them for $450. So I searched that forum, and he had other threads about how to polish aluminum and remove scratches.. Turns out all 4 rims were curbed and scratched up. Who knows if they were bent or what.... So after finding that information out, and reading a thread on here where kuntzie mentioned the 077s + power = death to input shafts, I decided it was in my best interest to steer clear.. I still like the 077s, and there is a guy on ebay that has a brand new chrome set of 17" with a 38mm offset for $625 + shipping. I kinda wanted 18", but maybe I could live with 17s? who knows..., You guys think that is a fair price for new 17" chrome 077s?
xtremerevolution
Isn't chrome heavier than a standard aluminum finish, thus increasing unwanted unsprung weight?
slick
Isn't chrome heavier than a standard aluminum finish, thus increasing unwanted unsprung weight? The chrome itself isn't very heavy. It's the fact that most chrome wheels are steel, because it doesn't stick to aluminum too awful well.

jeremy
I'd keep looking for 18s. And fwiw I don't think the 077s were the cause of kuntzie's problems I would give that credit to the HP of the car and his driving habits.
