Addicted To Boost Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 Would my 91 GP be prewired for HUD or DIC? Quote
ManicMechanic Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 I'm wondering if the '92 is... Quote
Addicted To Boost Posted April 25, 2009 Author Report Posted April 25, 2009 Is there any way I can find out? RPO codes or something? Quote
ManicMechanic Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 Only way is to take the dash apart. Quote
Addicted To Boost Posted April 25, 2009 Author Report Posted April 25, 2009 If it is indeed prewired, would the wiring harness just be sitting there with an unplugged connector? Quote
ManicMechanic Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 It would likely be tucked in the harness somewhere. Quote
Addicted To Boost Posted April 25, 2009 Author Report Posted April 25, 2009 Hmmm.... :goes to look: Quote
ManicMechanic Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 If Jake comes over this weekend, I will have a look see myself. Quote
Skunkworks_Zed Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 My '93 SE was prewired for HUD, but not the DIC. I doubt the cars would be prewired for the DIC since it was a standalone harness on the C200. The connector was sitting behind the wiper pod, taped in foam. There was also an RPO code for prewiring (atleast thats what I'd guess its for... other cars that I've seen fully optioned didn't have this RPO), "WX7: Wiring Provisions." Quote
Addicted To Boost Posted April 25, 2009 Author Report Posted April 25, 2009 I pulled the dashpad off and found this connector neatly bundled together in a square of foam tucked behind the gauge cluster.... I can has HUD?! Quote
Addicted To Boost Posted April 25, 2009 Author Report Posted April 25, 2009 Sweeeeeeeeeeeet! Now where are they hiding the DIC harness on these? Quote
5speedz34 Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 There won't be a DIC harness. You should be able to plug it into the C200 connector and it will be plug and play. Quote
