White93z34
long story short: no one I can find sells a 284 mount, no parts stores carry it and it is unavailable from the dealer. If someone could take measurements of their 282 mount I would appreciate it here are some pictures of my broken 284 mount Pictures linked because they are HUGE http://digitaloutsider.org/chris/284mount/DSCN6398.jpg http://digitaloutsider.org/chris/284mount/DSCN6400.jpg http://digitaloutsider.org/chris/284mount/DSCN6401.jpg http://digitaloutsider.org/chris/284mount/DSCN6402.jpg http://digitaloutsider.org/chris/284mount/DSCN6403.jpg

5speedz34
I know the mounts look quite alot alike but the 284 mount is bigger IIRC, and mounts slightly differently.

intern8tion9l
when i needed a new mount for my 282, i went to the local dealer and they ran the part number and gave me a list of all the places in the country that still listed at least one in stock, then i just called till i actually found one. i would think they could do that fora 284 mount as well.... White93z34
Been there, done that. The dealer I use can find anything across the country that is listed in any dealers inventory, including vintage parts. No dice.
