Grand Moff Joseph Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 I'm looking at new rotors for use on both my Lumina and the Infiniti. I've had a very good experience with my set of PowerSlot rotors, but I'm trying to look at other choices too. Namely: ATE PremiumOne slotted rotor Powerslot Power Alloy rotor DBA (Disc Brake Australia) slotted rotor does anyone have experience with these rotors? Especially the ATE and DBA brands. Thanks! dodgethis Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 I wouldn't know about those types of rotors. I haven't used a slotted rotors, I have used the Wagner rotors, and pads. I also have the wagner drums and shoes. I never had a problem with them. Quote
Night Fury Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 Paging Andrei! I can't remember what they were but he loves them. Quote
Crazy K Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 Paging Andrei! I can't remember what they were but he loves them. x2. i need rotors that are more rust resistant. Quote
xtremerevolution Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 I used "drilled" (they were cast with the holes) PowerStop rotors, which were $90 a pop IIRC. Way too expensive for w-body rotors. I would highly recommend the ebay seller R1 concepts on their standard crossdrilled/slotted rotors. I have a set on my Bonneville and they're amazing. Great prices too. I use their standard rotor for the rear of my Regal without any issues. All of their rotors are zinc coated to help reduce rust. However, any rotor will rust regardless of the coating you have on it. Its just a matter of time. The zinc coating does help a lot though. Let me know if you need more info. Quote
xtremerevolution Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 On a side note, I have installed the following R1 Concepts rotors: 1996 Regal, rear (fiance's sister) - Standard zinc coated 1995 Regal, rear (my regal) - Standard zinc coated 1998 Intrigue, front & rear (co-worker) - Standard zinc coated 2005 Bonneville, front & rear (my GXP) - Cross-drilled/slotted/zinc coated That's 6 pairs of rotors. Not a single problem with any of them yet, and I abuse the ones on my Bonneville a lot. They're definitely great quality rotors. Quote
