fleetwoodguy79
This DOHC motor is really something! But what would be even BETTER is to get some headers for it especially with all my porting work done! Anyone know of someone that sells them? we're talkin 3.4 DOHC here :-)
SmokesGTP
Good luck cause they don't exist to the best of my recollection. The stockers flow pretty good anyway. Exhaust is not the place to get a substantial amount of ponies out of a Lq1 from what I have read anyway.
Vegeta
Yeah, whats half a second in the 1/4 anyway. That site is outdated and spreads more rumors than any other place I know. Stock sucks, and headers help a shitload on the DOHC, as has been proven. Good luck finding a set, you have to make your own or wait and pray someone makes a set and then produces them. SmokesGTP
Who has proven it?
NOHC_WBody
5 bucks says the Fiero Master himself, Chris West has.
Guest Anonymous
A guy on efi-street made a set. Big improvement. I think he's redesigning them though. I think he ran a 14.2 on street tires with them compared to 14.9 without them. Correct me if I'm wrong Ben.
SmokesGTP
Nice, I didn't even think of those fiero guys. They have wet dreams about the Lq1.
Guest Anonymous
BTW, it was on a Z34.
Vegeta
It was a 14.3, and that is correct. He made them equal length and 1 step too large on the primary diameter for an NA setup. He is setting his engine up for a supercharger though, which is the reason for the larger size. With the smaller size, he may have been about to go a bit faster.
