RobertISaar Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 Aweb: ceramic coat right? when i coated my turbo i had the directions to heat at 400 for 20 minutes, cool for 60, heat for 40, cool for 60, heat for 60 and wait until its touchable to remove it... seemed to work well, even though the turbo hasn't been used yet, the coating seems tough, i've hit it accidently with a hammer or two and it didn't chip like i expected, no rust anywhere either... AWeb80 Posted May 18, 2009 Author Report Posted May 18, 2009 I looked for directions....all the POR had on the can was, coat dry for 24 hrs heat to 300* cool recoat install and will totally cure w/ exhaust heat. THe VHT I used on my DP had the directions you posted Quote

THe VHT I used on my DP had the directions you posted yep, VHT ceramic-silica... i just wish the stuff wasn't $10 a can... i'd cover most if not all of my engine with it. Quote
