Robby1870
What does it sound like?? Backfiring?? Some metal on metal tapping?? Let us know what it sounds like and what its doing, cuz I have never heard of a stock rocker just breaking, they arent under THAT much stress. Okay, so you're back on all 6, right? If you are, take a screwdriver and put it on the ends of the fuel rail you can see, then put your ear up to it. If you hear a loud clicking or tapping sound, you may be down an injector. If you broke a rocker, then its always going to backfire, and not go back and forth b/n working and not. I wish I could hear the sound, that would help A LOT Robby
gp90se
i ment im only on 5 cylinders, it was clicking but driving fine, the i started it from a friends house and 1 of the cylinders isnt firing, but the inj thing would make sence, if it isnt spraying like it should, it wouldnt fire right. ill do the screwdriver thing 2morrow. -Jeff
Robby1870
You said it was clicking, so it was loud then?? Then it still clicked and now you only have 5 cylinders. I bet its a fuel injector. The best way to test is to check the ohms on them. Some one in the TGP section (maybe TGPilot) posted and said the ohms on an injector should be 12. I think thats right. Also try putting the screw driver on the injectors them selves if you can, that way, you can isolate the source. However, and this is my personal opinion, if one injector has gone south on you, more are sure to follow. So, what I would do, would be to replace all 6 of them at the same time, and have them flow tested. However, that is pricey. Anyway, hope this helps Robby
