Little curious of how the 282 works?

I was wonderin, what pulls the clutch fork back when you release the peddle. I am a little confused about that, is it just the pressure plate forcing it back, I got my fork bent back in shape and it looks great and I am getting ready to put everything back together, but I just didn't quite understand how that worked...

I think you are correct. what exactly happened to bend it?????

You are correct, the pressure plate is what pushes it back. That is what you feel pushing against you when you press the pedal.

my dumb ass put the TO bearing on the fork instead of putting the fork in between the tabs on it like I was supposed to... lol

Ok thanx, I thought that's what it was but I was told that there had to be a spring or something and I knew there was nothing like that when I took it all apart

Yeah... the pressure plate is the spring :smile:
