SE7EN X RACING
I got a small project going on for my g/fs impala. im also a registered user on NAIOA.com and they gave me some insight. But I plan on modifing her L36 just a lil bit and adding GM's upgraded sway bar and trailing arm kit. Right now the only thing ive added are BFG Traction T/A's and a K&N intake. My next step im not 100% sure on. Im looking at adding an upgraded PCM and exhaust, and looking into the ugraded rockers pushrods and lifters. Like i said i somewhat know what i want to do just not sure in what order, and looking for information on the rocker kit like potentional HP gain and fuel milleage impact. Andrew
the ER ratio rockers from ZZP are great for the L36. Im told they actually increase MPG. Dont need new pushrods or lifters with them though. https://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix/products1.php?id=555&catid=104 Also look for a full 2.5" downpipe, get the bolt in type with cat. https://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix/products1.php?id=551&catid=110 and ZZP's HV3 intake insert. https://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix/products1.php?id=214&catid=
SE7EN X RACING
someone suggested this kit. but as far as exhaust manifolds, everything is expensive. and that 2.5" downpipe has not cat. so i would get the rear 02 delete? Euro
Yeah you could get the rear delete, they do make them catted though! I have some ported manifolds that I could sell ya! I believe they were ported by Hulkspeed. I'll sell them what I bought them for. $60. If ya want
Andrew
for a L36, you only need the front Powerlog. rear ported isnt necessary until you start to go mod crazy. Full headers kill some low end torque, and are expensive. This does not, and is not. https://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix/products1.php?id=208&catid=
runt
If your looking for PCM upgrades and don't want to buy a tuner, I'd recommend an Overkill PCM (getoverkilled.ca)
AWeb80
all the mods listed so far is what I would have done if I had got an Impala like I originally planned. Good advice so far.
