Fastolds
i have a 94 Regal GS 2 dr, and have been looking at aftermarket replacements for the fog lamps in it. I have found Piaa 32110s on amazon, but i am not sure if they will fit into the hole very well. Has anyone upgraded their fog lights in their regal? any experiences in this area would be greatly appreciated. Adam
mikedunbar
Hello- This won't be too much help, but when I took my for lights off and brought them down to the parts store, they didn't have anything that was more squarish than rectangular, like they are. I wrapped the lens housing in black tape, then put it back on. That worked ok for a year, but now they're looking shabby again. Please post if you find something that fits. Good luck... xtremerevolution
I actually just picked up a bumper from a 94 with those fog lights for my 95 Regal. I bought some sandpaper, sanded down the lenses with slightly coarse and then very fine grit (2000), and then polished them with my dremel and some polishing compound, and they look GREAT. I you guys are interested, I could definitely polish yours as well. I can post pictures of what mine look like if you want them.
Fastolds
mine actually still look ok, but the metal retainer ring is rusting. plus they aren't too bright. thats why i was looking at some piaas or hellas. but i want something that will fit into the hole that the factory ones fit into. thanks for the offer though. adam

slick
Your best bet- Figure out the dimensions, and just start shopping around for replacements in similar size.

mikedunbar
Hello- I took another trip down to the AutoZone store, and they had fog lights that fit. They're $20, called Navigator NV102Z auxiliary driving lights. I'll attach a picture of the package. [/img][/img] If this picture comes up in my post, I'll post again with the installation technique I used. (They don't just bolt on).

mikedunbar
Hello- OK, I figured out how to post pictures. Here's the procedure I followed to put these $20 lights on my Buick. I used a 9/32 socket to unbolt the fog light bracket from the car, and my fingers to unplug it. the old fog light... I used a screwdriver, and a torx driver, to remove the light from its bracket. disassembled old fog light... I took the supplied bracket off the new light, too. Then I flattened the tabs on the old bracket which used to hold the light. I used a big hammer, and a piece of rail. big hammer flattening old bracket... I cut a piece of industrial-strength velcro to fit between the back of the new light and the front of the old bracket. I cleaned both surfaces, and super-glued each side of the velcro to the bracket, and the new light. cut velcro on new light... and on the old bracket... I let the glue dry, and then assembled the new light to the old bracket. new light on old bracket... It was simple, then, to bolt the new lights onto the Buick, and to connect the wires (there's only two). Here's the 1993 Buick Regal GS with its shiny new $20 fog lights. new lights on 1993 Buick Regal GS... I hope this is helpful. I'll post again if the glue or the velcro fails, but I've had good luck with it on other projects.
xtremerevolution
Looks great. I have a few questions. 1. What bulbs do they use? 2. Are they much brighter than the stock lights?
88Regal Limited
looks good! And is your grill red? schweet!
Fastolds
i never thought i would find a group of people that appreciate these old w bodies like i do. i wish i had money to upgrade to a new w body, but i'll just keep drivinDg this one until the wheels fall off. Don't have any pics yet, but its a 94 GS, its that purplish gray color and has the fancy factory 16" wheels on it. I hate the radio, but have an XM unit hooked up, so i don't mind as much. Gonna dig into the engine here soon to stop the leaking- and i just bartered with a guy to rebuild my trans recently. adam

mikedunbar
Hello The lights aren't any brighter than the stock ones were, and they use a little LED bulb. My grill is red, to match my pinstripes, hey.
