GP1138
So, the previous owner(s) of my 'vert broke one of the plug wire caddies (whatever the fuck they're called) on my 3.4L DOHC. The center rear to be exact. I have a replacement wire from my '94 but the plug wires are routed oddly, what's the easiest way to replace the rear plug wires? Removing the power steering pump? 5speedz34
I just called your cell. What the hell is a plug wire caddie? I'm not trying to take a jab at you but what are you talking about?
ManicMechanic
The plastic routers for the plug wires. I broke one too.
5speedz34
So your question only has to due with the plug wire routing not the caddie?
ManicMechanic
It's kind of a bitch in these cars...

GOT2B GM
you should be able to remove the plug wires without removing the PS pump
5speedz34
you should be able to remove the plug wires without removing the PS pump Well from the factory the stock rear wires where routed underneath the cam carrier, and between the intake manifold and the ps pump. Rerouting them can be a pain, I unbolted the PS pump so I had easier access to maneuver the wires down there.
