z34duck Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 to do it right you should get a steering column out of a floor shift car also Quote
Taylor Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 seats, console, shifter assembly, steering column, shifter cable, park/lock cable (if equipped, I don't know when or IF they stopped doing the cable and went to electric like the GEN 2 cars, but if it has it, it goes from the steering column to the shifter). Will also need to do some wiring. Quote
89SupremeCutty Posted March 23, 2009 Author Report Posted March 23, 2009 to do it right you should get a steering column out of a floor shift car also yea that's what i was missing. i kinda figured i would have to swap it in. seats, console, shifter assembly, steering column, shifter cable, park/lock cable (if equipped, I don't know when or IF they stopped doing the cable and went to electric like the GEN 2 cars, but if it has it, it goes from the steering column to the shifter). Will also need to do some wiring. wiring im not worried about. that should be easy. swapping the column might be difficult. Quote
