Need to do front and rear wheel hubs on my car, and have no clue how.... or how hard it is going to be. I am sure someone on this board can answer this question real easy, so just let me know.

Fronts are easy. Get them from rockauto.com

Never had to do the rears...

i think you have enough experience with the front end that it shouldnt be too difficult. take the axle nut off and undo the 4 bolts holding the hub from behind. Simple as that. You need a 15mm socket, an extension to bring your total length to like "6 and a ratchet. An impact gun will help here, since the bolts stick out like 3/4" past the knuckle and get pretty rusty.

Coating the bolts in penetrating fluid a day in advance will make things easier

I'm not too sure on the specifics with the rear.

May seem dumb... but i wasnt sure if I had to take the balljoint out or not... but now I get it, and obviously dont, any idea why the rears are so much more damn expensive... at autozone

Fronts are 80 and rears are 120

yeah I am gonna get the timken from autozone thanx everyone

And pay almost 2x as much? Why? The Rockauto front wheel hub from Timken is $66 shipped. The Autozone one is $100 plus tax. Seriously...

well they are only 80 at autozone by me...

idk... maybe ill order them

Don't forget there are widely available 5% off coupons everywhere. Just search google for "rockauto discount code" and copy the first one you see, and it will give you 5% additional off. I find a code every time I place an order with them. You save a good amount of cash getting your stuff off of rockauto.com.

Wow, that's some jacked up shit. They don't have the Timken hubs listed for my regal anymore either! I just bought one less than 2 months ago too! Here's what I copied directly from my invoice in my e-mail, which was dated February 1st:

TIMKEN 513044 Axle Bearing and Hub Assembly $ 61.89 $ 0.00 1 $ 61.89

Edit...If you search for the part number in their part search, the part will come up and you can add it to your cart! Its the same hub as on your Lumina, so you can order it there.

So freakin weird...

Also, I just called rockauto, and their sales person sent an e-mail to their catalog department, so that part should be back up assuming it was removed in error.

If you go to RockAuto's website and search by part number 513044, there are 2 items that come up.

TIMKEN Part # 513044

Category: Axle Bearing and Hub Assembly

BCA/NATIONAL Part # 513044

Category: Axle Bearing and Hub Assembly

I'm wondering if rock auto is trying to discontinue the timken hubs, and replace them with this other one.
