THe_DeTAiL3R Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 If you've got compressed air and like to keep your car clean, this tool makes the job easy and fun! Virtually eliminates the need for small brushes, spray bottles, and reduces the amount of rags you might use. I have one at work and use it all the time, it's really a huge time saver. It may sound like I'm trying to sell this product or something, but it's really just something amazing that most people have never seen before. It costs around $150-200 but may be worth it depending how much you use it. Watch this video that shows you how to use it. The demonstration is pretty much exactly how I use it, even though this is the first time I've watched the video. Quote
jake91 Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 cool but i dont care what that guy says that looks like way to much water to just spray on the controls and stuf Quote
oldscsc Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 Looks like a big mess IMO. If I was a professional detailer I might be able to see myself using it, but def. not on my own vehicle(s). Quote
Cam'ron Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 the most BORING voice ever... they could have used Ben Stein and i would have been like "ahh sweet they got Ben Stein to do the video voice over" Quote
Addicted To Boost Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 I used one of these when I used to be a detailer at a local shop. They do work great! I did a headliner on a Chevy 1500 that was full of coffee(?) and it made it look like new without having to physically touch it. Very cool. Quote
Grand Moff Joseph Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 As a professional detailer, we used a regular Shark brand steam cleaner in much the same way on every car we detailed. Never once did we have an issue. I use the same thing on my cars, again with no issues. Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted March 23, 2009 Author Report Posted March 23, 2009 cool but i dont care what that guy says that looks like way to much water to just spray on the controls and stuf It's really not alot of water- it sprays it in a mist. I can do a whole vehicle using on MF cloth (assuming it's not a pig pen) and the cloth will still be fairly dry. I spray it on all the controls and buttons, give it a quick wipe and the switch it to the air and it blows out any remaining liquid. Quote
