Hey i was wondering what are some cool upgrades you can do on just a normal 3.1 litre gran prix. im purchasing a 1994 se coupe and need to know what kind of fun i can have. also whats some stock 1/4 mile times and some times of people who have worked on their gp's. any help would be much appreciated.

Start with the basics such as an intake and an exhaust as 90TGP suggested.

No offense, but this question would be better suited to the powertrain section as your question doesn't really pertain to TGPs :)

as far as stock times go...probably around mid-high 17's w/ spare/jack removed....my cousins 92 SE ran a blistering 17.65@76mph pass about two weeks ago in 85*ish weather...very free flowing exhaust(killing some low-end) and rigged intake....so basically STOCK....btw, his motor has 160K on it also  I believe he's going to throw the stock air box back on just to see if that makes any difference and try to run it under the same conditions(not too hard being that it's basically the same temp for the first 3-4 hrs at the track). I think it has a little more in it and would do better w/ a cooler temp outside, I guess we'll find out later this year on a cooler track day..the 1/4 track(nice NHRA track) here is open til mid November here and we have a shitty 1/8th track here too. the 60' time on that pass was 2.42X w/ ~32psi in the Bridgestone Turanza 225/60/ZR16's he's running(I think they're the Z's anyway, I doubt he got the crappy h-rated ones)...gonna air them mofo's down a bit and air up the rears and try to cut some better 60's, it spun slightly on take off, I was driving...had a .549 r/t...got a slip I'll post/or send you if you're interested(have a picture of it I took w/ the digi cam because I have no scanner  )
