LukeZ34
Just noticed this as I pulled back in to work from getting a haircut. I pushed the window button to close the window, and it clicked back as if it had never automatically released from opening it. Window doesn't do anything, so I'm going to assume a worst case scenario and say it burned the motor. I'm curious as to if the motors have a thermal protection on them, as couldn't smell anything hot in the car.. Are these motors expensive? How hard are they to change? I'm just hoping it doesn't rain.. lol
AWeb80
It could just be a bad switch. My driver side switch for the pass. window went out a while back. I took out the switch panel out of the door and used a test light to see if it was the switch and not the motor.....yes it was the switch....i think it was like...um...$40 or so. It's been so long since I changed it i don't remember Check it with a test light to see if it is the switch and not the motor.
