GP1138 Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 I'll have it up and going again shortly GP>Aurora as much as I'll like the Aurora.....sad to say, your GP is still more sexy...and I'd take it in a heartbeat I would take the Aurora in a heartbeat over any model first gen Grand Prix. Quote
Addicted To Boost Posted March 23, 2009 Author Report Posted March 23, 2009 I must be insane then. I love 1G GPs. Quote
jake91 Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 i would take a 1st gen gp over a aurora Quote
oldscsc Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 You guys are weird, those are fairly good looking cars with an available Northstar, even if it is a 4.0 instead of the 4.6. Quote
old442man Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 Aurora's are frickin sweet. My brother had one that he just sold for like $650. Awesome cars but too many electrical components to risk going out on a car with 13yrs and over 200K on it. Quote
AWeb80 Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 You guys are weird, those are fairly good looking cars with an available Northstar, even if it is a 4.0 instead of the 4.6. you're not a die hard W body fan..... Quote

jake91 Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 i must not be either due to im thinking about a mustang for my next car Quote

It's hard not to appreciate the technology and engineering that went into every aspect of that car. I know, I know.....just being silly. They are sweet. I drove a 4.0 on a test drive. I know I'll like it.....but it will be hard to beat the fun-ness of driving my GP and my GP still looks better Quote

My next car will not be a W-body, so no I'm not. I'll be looking at a Suburban even though I have no use for an eight passenger truck ...but the real question is, are you a diehard W guy with your next car being a non-W? Quote
AWeb80 Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 LOL....it's close enough. I looked at teh 04 Impy's you know....they are W's....but way over priced Quote
old442man Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 i must not be either due to im thinking about a mustang for my next car You sir should be committed. Quote

1990lumina Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 I'm still a W fan and haven't owned one for 2 years now. The Lumina is still around though and I do miss driving it sometimes - mainly in shitty conditions or gravel/rough road haha- poor car got so beat up but never let me down. Quote
Addicted To Boost Posted March 23, 2009 Author Report Posted March 23, 2009 This sure won't be my last W either.. I'll own more 1st gen GPs Diehard or insane, its what I enjoy Quote
RobertISaar Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 You guys are weird, those are fairly good looking cars with an available Northstar, even if it is a 4.0 instead of the 4.6. 95-99, i'll agree with that, i love the way they look... the 01-end models.... too much like and intrigue/alero... Crazy K Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 buy a radiator. go to a j/y and grab one, as long as it is from an 88-93, and has the transmission cooler lines on the correct side of the radiator. Quote
Addicted To Boost Posted March 23, 2009 Author Report Posted March 23, 2009 We'll have to make a jy trip soon. Quote
jake91 Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 im going saturday we ought to meet up Quote
Addicted To Boost Posted March 23, 2009 Author Report Posted March 23, 2009 Might have to, we'll see how this week pans out. Both cooling fans and the AC compressor are all dead on this car as well.. and it needs an airbox and now a radiator. Might have to snag other odds and ends as well.. Quote
AL Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 Nick I have a Radiator and cooling fans in my shed from my 93... If you dont find what your looking for, I will sell them to you Quote
Addicted To Boost Posted March 23, 2009 Author Report Posted March 23, 2009 Would it be the same, being it is from an LQ1 car? Quote
