2buickbob
Thank you all very much for your input. A couple of weekends ago, I replaced the left door handle to my 92 Regal coupe (up in the pillar). I bought in on-line for about $25. The clips to the 2 rods was the hardest part (weird). However, that clip/shim behind the keylock (attached with a Torx type bolt) is now the most questionable part. I wonder if it will fall off, since it seemed kind of loose. This won't be that hard to fix as I now know how to open up the door panel. Question: where can I get that clip/shim that holds in the keylock? (It's a tiny item). What does one do to secure it and keep it from sliding around/falling off? Thanks for the help I've already received, but it would be great to get some input here.
