Addicted to eaton Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 Thinking of keeping the gto as a daily driver and making the GTP a Toy car. For a few reasons. GTP can be made a very fun car for Very cheap. I like the GTP better, I know it whines a lot but I like it! and well I’m attached to it. New motor will be on its way soon for 500$ So tint or no tint? CSI_MuNkY Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 Unanimous so far! lol Can never go wrong with tint IMO! Jamie Quote
5speedz34 Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 How about getting new wheels first? Quote

Masterchief362 Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 tint it for sure. 20% or darker would look best Quote
jeremy Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 cant see shit at night though don't tint the windshield Quote
GOT2B GM Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 I'm thinking reversing out of driveways / parking spots, would be very difficult Quote
CSI_MuNkY Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 Even with mine I hate coming to an intersection in the middle of no where with no street lights trying to see if anything is coming from the other directions. Jamie Quote
Addicted To Boost Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 15% for the front windows, 5% for everything behind the B pillars. I have that setup on my truck and like it.. I also do a lot of night driving and have no issues with it that dark. Quote
Night Fury Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 Yeah, I never had an issue with seeing through tint even in my cutty... Not that I could ever drive that hunk of steaming shit... Quote
GOT2B GM Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 You guys must do mostly city driving Quote
Crazy K Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 i test drove a car with deep tint on all the glass... and man... did it bother me driving it on a cloudy afternoon. it was a vert.... it was easier to see over the glass than through it. Quote
Addicted to eaton Posted March 12, 2009 Author Report Posted March 12, 2009 I won't go to dark. God knows i don't need any tickits Probably 35 front 5 rear Quote
supreme_style21 Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 I'm thinking reversing out of driveways / parking spots, would be very difficult agreed. nuisance, but depends on how dark it goes. But definitely worth having the tint as far as my opinion. I'd never go 5% or anything, but even a light tint can make a big difference in appearance, and still be easy to see out of at night. Quote
Andrew Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 15% all around yes! had this on my old Z34 and i loved it. Quote
