Whats going on folks. Got an issue with my Z. Drove in this morning to work, no problems. Filled my tank at Sunoco. Went to work. Left work later in the day, got about 12 or so miles from work and my Z started idling funny and kinda surging. Also when you hit the gas hard, it bogs, but you let in easy its ok. Not sure if I smelled a rich gas smell or not. didnt really register it fully but I kinda smelled it. Also when I filled up I had just under the empty mark.

Possibly bad gas or something else?

If it's a mechanical issue the check engine light will let you know.

not necessarily. OBD-I isnt always so smart.

i would agree though. run through the tank of gas and see if the problem persists with a fill from somewhere else. Could be a number of things if it persists.

Oh my bad, I didn't even notice that. I guess putting it in the title is to hard for me to understand lol.

But yea the running it down idea seems best. It could be you got lots of junk in you fuel filter too.

So after the tank runs out and you fill somewhere else try the filter.
