Hey all, new TGP owner. 1990 Red ext. Tan Leather int. No CD. picked the car up for less than 1700 bux with just a lil over 129k. I do have a few questions. First being, I was looking at the turbo, and it seems I'm missing something. I don't have pics yet but will post asap, was wondering if someone might be able to pinpoint what I'm talking about. On the front of the turbo toward the lower left there is a nipple there, looks as if a hose should go there but on mine there is nothing. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Here's the pics from the ad I bought it from:

Welcome to the board. That TGP looks to be in pretty good shape. If you don't mind, please answer the following questions(I'm compiling a database/registry for these cars as you might have seen a few posts down in this section).

1. Factory cassette player or factory cd?

2. VIN Number?

3. What's the date listed on the ASC sticker in the driver's side door jamb(if yours is still there)?

If you're talking about the vacuum nipple on the turbo, a vacuum line should be there. From the bottom nipple on the front of the turbo, the line runs to the solenoid that sits on top of the front valve cover. here's a picture for reference...

do you have or can you get a closer shot of exactly where that hose is supposed to go? That nipple on my turbo is completely open, I assume I'm losing some serious boost from that being wide open? I'll grab the vin and date off the present sticker in the morning when I go to fix this hose! Certainly appreciate the help!
