Cuttin UP
First off, Hello. Im new here and im exited to get to know the forum. I've been in to cutt's for a long time. My first car was an 98 supreme. I've had two more sense. My current is a 93 vert. twin cam. But I recently got a deal on a 2000 supercharged 3800 out of a buick riviera. My question is, Is a Rivera a W body? If so will the harness plug an play? Next is if it won't, Will the harness from a regal work for this swap? Well I'll stop there and see what I get. Thanks for your time. Tony
Night Fury
1. Welcome 2. Riviera is not a W 3. 2000 is OBD 2, 1993 is OBD1, Your gonna have problems.

Cuttin UP
Well I went there and Looked and looked and looked. I found some promising leads but thay all lead nowhere. That place is DEAD!!!! there's some questions that were asked over a year and never answered. and i dont know about you guys but I cant fined the search button over there. I think I need a 98/99 Z34 harness. and then do some mods to make it plug and play. Can someone tell me what needs to be done? and I would love the pin outs and schematics for the L67,Z34 and the 93 cutty. I'll make my one harness from scrap if I need. I'll do whatever to get this thing rollin!
oldscsc
In 1998, the Cutlass was an N-body along side the Malibu, not a W-body. Lets see some pictures of the convertible! And welcome to another Tony!

95 vert
I've done this. http://www.w-body.com/forum/index.php?topic=68340.0 I used a 98 Lumina harness/computer on a 00 GTP engine and trans 3800 heater hoses,ps pressure hose, radiator hoses,GP axles with Cutlass ends swapped (at the wheel) and fuel line repair ends from O'reillys for the difference in length. You have to swap some wires at the bulhead connector, add a wire for obd II and add an obd II connector under the dash.

Cuttin UP
Sweet!! That looks great! Just how I imagined it would.I would like to keep it OBD II but if I cant find a harness in the J-yard. I was thinking of getting a wire harness out of a 3.8 s1 Buick Regal and running it OBD I like a s1 SC 3.8. As a last resort, will that work also? Just want to say thanks for the guidance! And its nice to see some Missouri rep.!
