kevinz
Like the title says, I have a 1993 Lumina Z34 with the annoying as hell automatic door locks. :willynilly:Whenever it's put into gear, the doors lock and they don't unlock when it's shifted out of gear. Gets kinda annoying real fast. I was thinking, there has to be some kind of wire that goes from the shifter to the door locks to lock them. Anyone know which wire this is? I was thinking that maybe if I cut it, the doors won't lock when put in gear, and hopefully would still work if I press the button. Has anyone does this? I'd like to figure this out, so any info or help is much appreciated. Thanks!
White93z34
pull down the pass side hush panel and you will see the chime module, there is one wiring harness coming off it, disconnect it. thats all it takes to remove that "feature"
