fastgtp1320
I had a zzp vs cam installed in my freshly rebuilt L67 in my 97 GTP :biggrin:the car ran great for two weeks then one morning tried two start it up and it wouldnt start up. We then checked fuel pressure and for spark as well and it was all good :willynilly:Iproceeded to do a comprsion test and found that I had about 60psi or less per cylinder......took the heads off and saw that only all my exhaust valves had hit the pistons my question is what caused this if my car ran great for two weeks? Andrew
have you checked your timing chain and make sure it didnt break?
19Cutlass94
If you drove it for two weeks, then its not the cam that made the exhaust valves hit the pistons. That would have happened when you first started it up. Check for things around the timing chain area as stated above. Did you get the wrong pushrods in the wrong spot?
