Timm
I have a Pyramid (Hurry up and finish laughing.) PB449X "1000 Watt" Amp. I don't know how they figure 1000watts. The manual says max current draw is 30amps at 14.4v 30 x 14.4 = 432Watts!?!? But nonetheless, It does what it should! Takes in the RCA jacks, remote wire, +12v, and ground. Hooks up to a sub just fine. And produces low tones in sync with the music coming from the other speakers. But lucky me! This baby decides it's just not doing enough! So it gives me a remix of every song! It hits HARD 4 times per second. Makes my ears hurt. :-( it does this whether a song is playing or not. The RCA's could be unplugged, and it will still do this. So, some people said it could be my alternator. How IDK. But I disproved it when the same thing happened with the engine turned off. I often just leave it off. Sometimes i feel as though throwing it out the window at a passerby would make me feel better. Please help! Or you might just be that unlucky passerby. Its been in 2 separate cars. Same problem. I could edit my original post, to make it sound like I knew what I was talking about. But I hate it when people do that. So here you all go. My dumbest post on this forum yet. All that was edited was the title of topic. Enjoy. This is a complete waste of a topic. Delete at will.

EviLette
You will never have the dumbest post here. That title was claimed years ago. Nice try though. And BTW. My tranny is slipping because my valence was missing forever so the tranny didn't get cooled! (Thought for the day in reference to dumb posts, hehe.) Garrett Powered
try having a turbo bolted to the top of your tranny and see how long your engine bay enjoys all the heat soak in the summer time with no way to flush out some of the heat. your tranny is not all that will suffer over a few years time.
