LukeZ34
Yea.. they just died tonight. All the 'illumination' lights.. cluster lights, ECC lights, anything that's illuminated at night.. has no light! lol There's no specific fuse for them, as I went through every one of em and didn't find a dead one. The only thing I thought it would be is something shorted out behind the radio.. which I don't understand why because I made sure they were crimped damn good, lol. Anyone got any suggestions as to where to look for the problem?
LukeZ34
Ok, so maybe my crimp wasn't all that great. Turned out to be the illumination wire on the Pioneer headunit came uncrimped with the illumination wire of the car.. and I guess it caused the rest of the lights to quit.. kinda weird. :? Brian P
so Pioneer radios dim the same as a GM radio??
Guest TurboSedan
on mine there is only bright/dim. it goes dim when you turn the parking lights or headlights on. i think i have the same deck as Luke...the Pioneer DEH-P77DH. that would be cool if you could adjust the brightness like you can with the cluster. oh well :? at least the P77DH matches the olds cluster nicely. joshua
