dogginred90
I know you guys dont know me here, but I need some help here. The car is a 90 TGP. Ok guys need your help here. I just replaced both my heads. Which we all knw whats involved with that. LIM, UIM,all that other good stuff. Well I get it all back together and fire her up. And she goes straight to the rev limiter. I checked the throttle for bindage, there is none. Disconnected the follow with no cure, Throttle linkage, IAC, TPS, CTS. The only thing that changed it was the MAP, and it just wont run with it unplugged. Any suggestions on this BIG issue. Thanks, Shawn

ManicMechanic
Sounds like a MAJOR vacuum leak.
GP1138
Can you take a video of the problem? It would help to know if it shoots straight up or if it walks up.
dogginred90
It shoots straight up. And stays there. If I drive it, it goes atleast 40 mph without hitting the gas. Went out and sprayed carb. cleaner around the the upper intake and on the vacumm hoses I can reach. NO CHANGE in idle. I wil have to pull the upper intake off and see if something is messed up under there.

GP1138
Check your Idle Air Control for it's presence, but also for the little o-ring around it. I've done that one too.
