CanadianGTP
Hey guys, got my new exhaust!!! Got a Magnaflow Cat put in, and some 14in long center-in center-out Magnaflow aluminized mufflers welded in place of the OE's. And some dual outlet resonated tips on either side. Looks great and sounds pretty good! Unbeknownst to me the previous owner had cut out the cat (always thought it had a rather loud exhaust for being stock) so after i put one in i GAINED power! Thats right! I always complained that the car had like no tourque below 2000 rpm and its considerably better now! The note is pretty deep and nearly as quiet as OE. But when the exhaust system is cold it tends to "rap" or sound kinda crappy until you drive for about 10 minutes, then its super-smooth. I like it! The factory resonator probably isn't doing much now so I'll probably replace it with a new one, might get rid of the rappiness when its cold. Anyhow, pics will come soon! Anyhow, pics will come soon! if i were you i'd take out the resonator. it will make flow less restrictive as well as probably helping your exhaust note troubles. it will, however, make more sound. i think that if you're going through the trouble anyway, you should just get rid of it altogether. any other opinions on this? deef ps keep us updated on what else you do
