GPdriver1986
Right now both of my a rear rotors are warped because both wheels over heated only once and hasn't done it since the beginning of July. I'll be going back to school soon so i'll have access to the auto shop (my teacher is a GM mechanic and former engineer), I can use the machine to resurface my rear rotors. Should I buy new rotors or should I wait until I go back to school?
Slade901
First, measure the thickness of the rotor(warped) with a micrometer and if the thickness is less than the minimum required thickness then resurfacing it would not do good and better buy a new rotor. Agreed. Wait till you have access. However, if you're doing your own work, OEM rotors are cheap and can be installed easily. I say, if you need to save money, I'd turn the rotors at your mechaine shop. - Erik
GPdriver1986
The rotors and pads are only 1.5 months old

Grind / turn them down to level and slap those back on afterwards. You should be set then! - Erik
