88Regal Limited
Backround- Car was running great, then when it got warm it would start to miss. not bad, but evident at WOT. Figured i'd change the plugs and wires. Took it into the local vo tech, and having idiot buddies work on you car isn't a good recipe. Got 6 new plugs put in (put in right) and the new wires. Well the wires were fubared. Bad. One burnt through on the way back, so I stopped at the gas station, kicked my car repeatedly with my foot, and got some electrical tape to mend the wire for now. Anyways, I take it to my grandmothers (because I live out in the boonies and don't have a garage). The car was bucking at low RPM's, but running decent at WOT. So i get there and changed the wires again. Did them one at a time, checked everything, and fired it up.... WORSE THAN BEFORE. Alright... called Chris 5 times and got the right firing order, and it was horribly off. (Vo-Tards). Fire it up, and it still has a miss. Not as bad as before, but VERY noticeable. Still bucking at lower RPM cruise speeds, but decent at WOT. I'm confused. I think I fouled a few plugs driving it the 30 miles, but do you guys think it could be anything else? -Sean
White93z34
what plugs are you running? is there a possibility that one of the tweedles helping you out with it cracked a ceramic on a plug? also i'd pull each back out and check and make sure a chunk of engine grease didn't get in the way of the electrode. and check the gap as well. Running AC Delco. that's all i'll run in this thing besides NGK's if I had to. And I guess I'll have to check all the plugs. I'll look at the back ones, but josh (my buddy that works at pepboys) did them and I trust that man, but there's probably grease all over them haha. The front ones I have no idea about. I'll give that a look. What's the stock gap of the plugs supposed to be?

1990lumina
NGK makes AC Delco plugs now anyways so either or doesn't matter. I'm going with a fouled or broken plug as well. It isn't hard to break one of the back three (at least I found a away the firs time I changed mine).

I watched a friend break two in a row on the rear of a 3.1 a while back.

BUT the lady at Autozone gave me 8 for the price of 6 for some reason, so it worked out perfectly!
