Piston.Hurricane Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 I'll have to drive it around for a while. I may keep it. I may not. My wife used the word "pimp" when she saw it. I refered to it as a tasteful and subtle modification to differentiate my vehicle from the masses. PH Click on the thumbnail for a larger view. Quote

3pt1lumina Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 This may be a dumb question, what is that stuff? I've never seen anything like it. Quote
GP1138 Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 Looks like woodgrain but ultimately ends up with a "grandpa-car" effect. Not terrible. If it was jet black it'd look 1000000x cooler. Quote
3pt1lumina Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 So is it a stick on type of thing? Like that carbon fiber wrapping paper? Quote
BXX Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 quit using spammy ass imageshack!!! Otherwise.... meh, I think its horrible, but then again, everything in the end ends up as a personal preference +1 for some originality Quote

oldscsc Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 Looks good on boots, I'm not a fan on cars. At least you tried something new. Quote
Piston.Hurricane Posted January 13, 2009 Author Report Posted January 13, 2009 So is it a stick on type of thing? Like that carbon fiber wrapping paper? Its regular vinyl from the fabric store and I used 3M spray-on adhesive. It was a little tough to form on the compound curves, but overall I'll give myself a passing grade for workmanship. Quote
