Went back today, its all there except some intake pieces, forgot to get the vin though but I'll be going back this weekend.

Addicted To Boost ... the cover is about $35 but shipping would be killer

Garrett Powered ... 98k at time of death

And yes the ECM is in it.

The reason I ask is I am in Phoenix, AZ. If you aren't far away, we could hook up, otherwise, I'd be interested in seeing what shipping would be. I'm definitely interested in the front bumper cover and lower valence together though.

I wonder whats the cause of death? what a shame, less miles than any of my tgps.

too bad about the car.....i def want the ecm though as long as they don't want some outrageous price for it

What part of so-cal are you in? How much do they want for the front bumper cover?

Indio, they want about $40 for the whole thing, interested? Plese let me know.

Nick, I'd get that thing before it's gone!

Having a spare TGP bumper cover around would be nice considering you would have a HARD time finding one if you ever did need it.

Oh man I drove through Indio last month on my way to Palm Springs

Hmm.. I'm interested, but I won't be able to drive out there anytime real soon.

An ECM out of any 2.8/3.1 W will work fine, they aren't turbo specific man.

Possibly referring to the MEMCAL?

Posted

The memcal isn't turbo specific either, however the tune is.. You can put a turbo tune on any memcal though.

The memcal is specific to our cars. It has a limp home mode burned on a seperate chip..

i know i can use any 2.8/3.1 ecm, but nobody has been able to come up with one for me that doesn't have like 250k on it

I'm running a memcal from an '88 Grand Prix SE with a tune on it, and it runs perfectly fine :dunno:

If you ever have multiple sensor failures and trigger limp home mode your car will be running off the fuel/timing curve of the 88 GPSE.

I know that you know your shit when it comes to chip burning, but how positive are you about the ECMs having specific programming not on the EPROM?

What seriously? Kenny never told me this.. You're the first person to say otherwise. Not that I don't believe you, this is just the first I've heard of this issue.. News to me!
