RomeoZ34
I bought a spare A-arm trim piece from the salvage yard to make some custom guages. I was wondering, if I buy guage pods and guages to screw onto the a-arm, what could I use to smoothe it out before I paint it. I would like it to fit flush with the a-arm. I was thinking sand it down, bondo it, then re sand it, then paint it. Would this work? Any ideas are appreciated. Also, what guages do you reccomend? How many should I do? I plan on running a custom turbo next summer, so I want to leave one for boost. I'd also like an a/f guage, but I wouldnt know where to run the wires. Any help, please! slick
Yeah, try some bondo. You could also get a little adventurous and do a little fiberglassing, then you would use bondo-glass to fill in all the spots and crap (same concept as bondo). 90TGP
I'd with a triple gauge pod set-up. Right now, I have A/F Ratio, water temp, and boost. I'm going to have an oil pressure gauge installed soon on the dash in a gauge cup.
Jasonz34
I heard early 90 mustang a-pillar pods would fit Z34's with slight modification.
RomeoZ34
I'd rather experiment w/ the one I have right now, because if I can make the pods flush, then it will fit perfectly, I don't want to have to use a heat gun to make it "almost" fit. That fox body stuff if all here say, I've never seen pics of it.

Pictures are posted of the final project, but I believe eclipse5302 did have some work-in-progress photos. - Erik
