2002ls1z
I know this is a weird question and i'd normally not hesistate to clean my engine. But I figured i'd rather be safe than sorry. Last Saturday, I had my lower intake manifold gasket, upper intake manifold gasket and valve cover gaskets replaced. I want to do a full detail on my Century today. Is it safe to clean my engine or do I need to avoid wetting it? Not sure if anything has to set, cure, etc. I'm assuming not. Input?

3pt1lumina
No problems... usually the guys wash the engines after the LIMs are done at the shop before the car leaves.
digitaloutsider
As soon as it's sealed, it's sealed. You could have doused it in water the second after bolting it together.
