oldscsc
Just wondering out of curiosity. Am I right in assuming the convertible's have less head room than the coupes?

xtremerevolution
I also have plenty. Then again, that's because I put in custom seats that sit 3" lower than the OEM seats.

Am I right in assuming the convertible's have less head room than the coupes? maybe you just have an abnormally huge head I didn't say I had a problem with it. I fit in it just fine, I just can't wear a hat.

jeremy
I have plenty, even when I have a helmet on You where that everytime you drive, right? wearing a helmet daily helps keep my insurance premiums lower, it's something like a 15% discount IIRC

oldscsc
I have plenty, even when I have a helmet on It's probably just the height difference then, because the specs say mine has .4 inches more head room than your car. jeremy
could be the height difference...I am only 6'1"
Andrew
My GTP has waaaaaaayyy more headroom than the Z34. at least it feels that way. maybe its because i have to have the seatback more vertical in the Z for shifting?
Breakdown
I have plenty, even when I have a helmet on You where that everytime you drive, right? wearing a helmet daily helps keep my insurance premiums lower, it's something like a 15% discount IIRC I have a helmet but don't wear it, I'm going to phone the insurance company and ask about this (Don't worry I'll record it when I do). Seriously though. With a sunroof it's bad in the Grand Prix, really bad. I have the power seat lowriding at the back and high at the front to make my head sit as low as possible and if I don't gel my hair it has some pretty bad static effects to start the day at the office, if I sit real straight my head is just against the ceiling. Wish I didn't have the sunroof now, far too much room is comprimised.

spiderw31
I test drove a '93 GTP with a sunroof, and my hair rubbed the headliner. In my '92, I've got a bit more clearance since it has no sunroof, but not that much. It's still better than my GTO was though... I barely had an inch of clearance in that one, and that was with my seat as low as it would go!
jake91
in my vert i have about 1-2 inches to spare if i were to sit my seat back up 100% my head would be in the roof
Night Fury
I have "just enough". I am 6', so I do have to have the seat all the way down because of the sunroof. It's perfect though. Any higher and I would touch. Wouldn't have it any other way though!
Regal_GS_1989
My 2000 is fine. I can have the seat adjusted to my liking and I have enough head room. Both my 1st Gen's though were terrible. Even with the seat all the way down, I had to concentrate to keep from rubbing my head on the roof. Both of those cars had sunroofs, although my 89 has an aftermarket ASC unit.

I have plenty, even when I have a helmet on You where that everytime you drive, right? My father's 6'3" and back in '94 when my family was shopping for cars, the Cutlass sedan had more headroom when compared to the Cutlass coupe and '95+ Lumina. oldscsc
My head rubs the ceiling in almost any car I sit in You need a full size pickup. Even the S-10 had way more head room than I could ever ask for.

swift13
im a shorter guy like 5'9" but between my vert and gtp with a sunroof the vert is a little closer to my head but that could be just that i sit differently in the 2 cars.
