slick Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 As the title says, I'm stuck which way to go on the rear suspension. Both replace the stock rear spring. Can't remember which, but I remember people ordering one from a company with specs they wanted, and it didn't quite match up. Performance wise, which has the better spring rates to help stiffen it up a bit? I found Birchmounts contact info, no price info though. Anyone got that? I could not find Flex A Forms contact info or price. Anyone got that? What's the timeframe I'm looking at from time I place the order until it arrives at my door, from past experiences on here? Thanks. Quote
GOT2B GM Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 I bought my Birchmount used from Jeff (kuntzie), maybe he could tell you. I beleive Ryan Warren "R. Dubya" had bought one as well. Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 I remember there were quite a few people that bought them. Id have to search to find them though. Quote
xtremerevolution Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 I bought a Flex-A-Form leaf 2 or so years ago, for $350 shipped. Still works perfectly. Timeframe for Flex-a-form, depending on how busy they are at the time, is about 1.5-2 weeks. Quote
55trucker Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 Chris......if you actually wanted to give Birchmount a call...the # is area code 416-698-3636 here in Toronto. It's been quite a few years since leaving the truck shop I used to work for did business with them, but Alex may still own the company. Quote
Bake82 Posted December 23, 2008 Report Posted December 23, 2008 I remember the birchmounts being around 200+ shipping in the group buy that was started. I think you could probably get it for 2-300 shipped. Everything i've heard from the birchmount is it's stiff, but not unbearable! Quote

Say, this truck shop wasn't on Kingston Rd. near the Pickering border in Scarborough was it? I had my Birchmount installed at a shop there in 2002... As for the stiffness, it really isn't too much. Just enough to cure squat-butt during brisk getaways. http://www.w-body.com/forum/index.php?topic=74272.0 Quote
